Job Title: Clerical Assistant
Hours: 20 per week
Salary: £11,464.27 - £11,644.15 (Scale 2 pro rata)
Contract: Part Time, Term Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP after appointment

St George’s CE Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person with good organisational skills to work in our very busy school office.
The successful applicant will:
Have admin experience in a busy environment
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
Have a calm, courteous and professional manner
Be numerate with excellent literacy skills
Have good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages
Have experience of SIMS, would be desirable
Have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise a wide-ranging workload and be adaptable to changing demands
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Be able to work well in a team
Have recent and relevant experience of direct work with children, young people, parents and families preferably within an educational context.
Be able to manage and prioritise personal workload
Be willing to participate in training as identified.
Specific duties of the post:
Responsible for recording and promoting good pupil attendance.
