Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication between staff, students, parents, and external agencies, while maintaining accurate records and supporting key school functions such as admissions, safeguarding, and general office duties.
This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be confident using systems such as SIMS, CPOMS, Microsoft Office, e-mai.
What we’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and respectfully with students, parents/carers, colleagues, and external agencies.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with experience in managing paperwork, maintaining records, and handling day-to-day office tasks.
• Proficiency in using IT systems including SIMS (or a willingness to learn), Microsoft Office, and email communications.
• A meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping, particularly in maintaining accurate student and safeguarding records.
• The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, and in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
• A flexible and collaborative attitude, with the willingness to support colleagues and provide cover across the administrative team when needed.
• A commitment to the Trust’s values and its work with vulnerable young people.
• The ability to adapt to working in different school settings within the Trust as required.
• Experience in a school or education setting is desirable, but not essential for candidates with the right skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
