Your new role
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you have a Level 2 qualification in a relevant childcare or education field and experience working with children? We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a real difference in local schools across St Helens and Newton-le-Willows.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Assisting pupils with learning activities and emotional wellbeing
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and routines
- Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Experience or familiarisation with SEN
- A flexible and proactive approach to classroom support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings
- An up to date Overseas Police Check if you have been living outside the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full right to work in the UK
