The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Housing Management to lead a wide-ranging portfolio across Tenancy Management, Welfare Support, Sheltered Housing, Customer Service, Resident Empowerment, and Neighbourhood Planning. This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape innovative housing solutions and drive service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple housing functions, ensuring delivery of team plans and performance targets
Champion a resident-first culture across all housing services
Develop and implement strategic policies that enhance service delivery and resident outcomes
Drive innovation through digitalisation and commercial growth initiatives
Ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management
Collaborate with internal directorates, external partners, and voluntary sector organisations
Represent housing at senior leadership level, influencing council-wide strategy
✅ Ideal Candidate:
Proven leadership in housing management and strategic service delivery
Strong understanding of statutory, regulatory, and policy frameworks
Experience managing change and supporting staff through transitions
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and partnership development
Passionate about improving outcomes for diverse communities
