Come and work for us

SEE (Oldham) is a new independent school in the centre of Oldham, catering for a small number of secondary school aged young learners (aged 11 16; Years 7 to Year 11) who find it difficult to cope and maintain their place within a mainstream school environment. The school opened its doors for the first time in October 2023, so this is an incredibly exciting time for our dedicated and experienced team and the start of our journey.

SEE (Oldham) is a school that develops those learners who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and/or autism (ASC) and/or specific learning difficulties to flourish in their own way, within a caring and nurturing environment.

The aim of SEE (Oldham) is to provide an environment where our learners can access a broad and suitable curriculum, enabling them to become engaged citizens in their communities and to have the resilience, skills and knowledge to make informed post-16 education and future employment choices for themselves, thus enabling each learner to take their next steps into adulthood.

We are keen to recruit dedicated and committed professionals to the team who share our values and will strive to care, nurture and develop our learners and help foster an inclusive and diverse culture for all.

SEE (Oldham) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable groups. All posts are subject to a safer recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records through enhanced DBS checks and completion of appropriate vetting checks. We promote safer working practice across our provision and all successful employees and volunteers will be expected to share this commitment.
