Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with SEND? Sandfield Close is seeking an experienced Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, working with KS2 pupils. This is a fixed-term role from 27th October 2025 until the end of the academic year.
What we offer:
• Salary: Grade 3, Point 5 – FTE £25,583 (Actual £18,887 per annum)
• Hours: 31.67 per week, 39 weeks per year
• Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:20am – 3:10pm (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)Please note: This post is funded through SEND provision and is not a permanent role. Should the supported child leave the school, a four-week notice period will apply. About the role: You will: • Support pupils with ASD, language and communication needs, and SEMH needs
• Deliver personalised 1:1 support and targeted interventions
• Use your initiative and SEND experience to help pupils achieve their targets
• Maintain accurate SEND provision records
• Meet the well-being, personal care, and hygiene needs of our pupils
• Communicate effectively with both children and adultsWe are looking for someone who: • Is caring, patient, and proactive
• Enjoys working in a collaborative school environment
• Has practical knowledge of SEND strategies and interventionsKey dates: • Closing date: Friday, 3rd October 2025 at 9:00am
