Administrative Officers carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court or provide support to other functions within the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service.
The roles will be based in either the Criminal/Civil or Cash teams on rotation and some key responsibilites include:
To ensure correspondence, counter enquires and telephone calls are replied to in line with the SCTS standards of service.
To ensure that the national/job related targets are met.
Processing and distributing incoming mail.
General photocopying and filing.
Processing fine payments and accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidelines.
Have regular contact with a range of court users, including members of the public, members of the Judiciary and the legal profession. As such you will be required to competently answer queries giving consistent and reliable advice.
