Crynodeb
A proactive administrator is required to support the work of the CPD Services and Events Team, which sits within the Directorate of Research and Innovation at the University. The post holder will support the work of Academic and Business Development staff in developing and delivering Continuing Professional Development, Conferences and other commercial activities; including in person, hybrid and virtual.
The CPD and Event Services team provide event management services and handle logistics, finance, and administrative activities. The team provide organising committees with planning, implementation and administrative support enabling academics to retain their focus on the key tasks of compiling and delivering a high-quality programme to attendees.
The postholder will support the development and delivery of a diverse series of in-person, hybrid and virtual events using a range of systems, including use of our Event Management Platform, the University’s finance system, web editor, digital asset management, marketing and social media.
The successful candidate will have good administrative and project management skills and excellent IT skills including web development and MS Office. In addition to this they should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to customer care.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 4, £26,942 - £30,805 per annum pro rata, with placement according to qualifications and experience.
