With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as an Evening Seasonal Sales Assistant.
Key Information about this role:
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so you will need to be able to work during the week and at the weekends, including Sundays.
The contracted hours we have available for this role are based on starting work late afternoon, and working into the evening up to as late as 11pm. You must be able to get to and from the store safely and independently.
A 20-hour per week contract: you may typically be working 4-hour shifts over 5 days. Overtime may be available.
Key Information about this role:
Rates of Pay:
16-20 year olds - £11.15 per hour.
21-year-old plus - £12.36 per hour
Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
So, if you are flexible to work late shifts, into the evening on different days of the week, have a great attitude, and friendly personality, this may be the role for you. There may also be an opportunity for you to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade.
With all our Evening Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts you will also be asked to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve – they’re some of our busiest days of the year.

To be an Evening Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be:
- Reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we're busy!
- Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
- Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries.
