Job Description

The Hospitality Assistant & Reception Cover role exists to deliver a seamless five-star service across both reception and hospitality functions.



You will ensure all visitors, clients, and staff receive a professional welcome, while also providing efficient support with catering, meeting room set-up, and events.



Acting as a proactive link between Workplace Services teams and clients, you will anticipate needs and deliver service excellence in line with ISS values.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a five-star welcome to visitors, clients, and staff, managing reception, switchboard calls, and enquiries.

Oversee meeting room bookings, AV support, and regular checks to maintain high standards.

Prepare, serve, and clear refreshments and catering in line with quality and hygiene requirements.

Support onsite events with set-up, service, guest liaison, and clear-down.

Manage catering deliveries, stock, and supplies, assisting with orders, recharges, and coordination.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, tenants, and partners while maintaining confidentiality.

Ensure reception, meeting rooms, and hospitality areas are kept clean and organised.

Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality procedures, reporting issues promptly and maintaining a professional appearance.


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, reception, or customer service (essential).

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and site-specific systems.

Positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teamwork.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (desirable).
