What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for 2 caring and resilient Teaching Assistants to work in our new IR that is due to open this academic year. Applicants should have high expectations for all pupils and a passion for supporting children’s learning. We value those who have a strong team ethos and are also self-motivated in order to develop themselves alongside the children. Taking an interest in the children and their lives at home is an important part of the work we do and our Teaching Assistants are vital in building these relationships. Applicants must have primary school knowledge & experience. A relevant level 2, or equivalent qualification is desirable. The role would involve supporting children with a range of special educational needs (SEND). We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience of working with children with speech and language difficulties and those with communication difficulties such as autism.
What the school offers its staff
In return the School and Trust can offer enthusiastic and motivated pupils who want to learn and achieve, alongside hardworking, dedicated and supportive staff and governors. Varied professional development and career opportunities will be available. Ofsted rated the school as “Good” in all areas.
Commitment to safeguarding
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring check in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1997.
