We are seeking administration and marketing support for a short term UKSPF funded project which runs until March 2026. The contract would ideally begin asap in the autumn subject to availability, working on a 3 day per week basis to deliver support to the Chief Executive and wider team.
The role will support the delivery of the time limited UKSPF funded marketing project, to specifically include:
- Convene, attend and take notes for partner meetings
- Collate partners project updates
- Compile design brief, proof, circulate designs for approvals
- Brief Sunderland Culture’s publicist, circulate resulting draft release for approval to partners
- Draft copy for socials
- Any other ad hoc marketing tasks to support the team
Areas of work will also include supporting some elements of administration:
- CEO diary management
- CEO and Chair administrative support where required
- Scheduling for Board Meetings, Finance Committee, Management Team, Full Staff Meeting, Programme & Learning, any other as required
- Support with internal communications
- Circulation of Papers where required for Board, Finance Committee, Management Team, Full Staff Meetings
- Minute taking when required for Board, Finance Committee and Management Team Meetings
- Monthly KPI compilation and other key business data
- Any other support as needed for the management of Sunderland Culture’ s business, administrative and financial processes, for the Director of Finance and
- Administration and CEO, as well as the wider Sunderland Culture team.
Knowledge and Experience
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in either an administrative or marketing/communications role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft based software packages including SharePoint and Office365.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to write and communicate in a clear and accurate manner, with attention to detail
- Commitment to working effectively and supportively in a team.
- Experience of working independently to deliver areas of allocated work
- Highly motivated and able to work in an accountable system and to deadlines.
- Confident and able to relate well to people, with good communication skills.
- Professional manner and strong communicator.
