We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Mental Health Hub Manager to lead the transformation of community mental health care in Bromley.

This Band 8a role is pivotal in delivering integrated, personalised, and preventative mental health services in partnership with primary care, local authorities, and voluntary sector organisations.

The post holder will be based at Beckenham Beacon Hospitaland will operate with a high level of autonomy, driving service innovation and improvement in line with the NHS Long Term Plan.
• Lead the mobilisation and operational management of the Bromley Community Mental Health Wellbeing Hub.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team including staff from Oxleas NHS, SEL Mind, Bromley Local Authority, and third sector partners.
• Build strong partnerships with GPs, PCNs, and community stakeholders.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE).
• Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development for staff.
• Lead on service evaluation, audits, and research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety standards.
• Participate in recruitment, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service transformation.

Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Our services include community health care such as district nursing and speech and language therapy, care for people with learning disabilities and mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing and therapies. Our multidisciplinary teams look after people of all ages and we work in close partnership with other parts of the NHS, local councils and the voluntary sector and through our new provider collaboratives. Our 4,300 members of staff work in many different settings including hospitals, clinics, prisons, secure hospitals, children’s centres, schools and people’s homes.

We have over 125 sites in a variety of locations in the South of England. In London we operate within the Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley Greenwich and into Kent. We manage hospital sites including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Memorial Hospital, Woolwich, as well as the Bracton Centre, our medium secure unit for people with mental health needs. We are the largest NHS provider of prison health services providing healthcare to prisons within Devon, Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, Kent and South London. The post holder will:
• Provide expert clinical and operational leadership for the Community Mental Health Wellbeing Hub.
• Influence and implement policies, SOPs, and service development strategies.
• Analyse complex data and make informed decisions to improve service delivery.
• Manage resources efficiently and contribute to financial recovery plans.
• Lead on staff supervision, appraisals, rota planning, and HR processes.
• Deliver training and educational programmes across disciplines.
• Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting.
• Work flexibly, including unsocial hours if required, to meet service needs.
