At Pobl Group, this role is best known as Project Worker. We are excited to be launching a new service in Carmarthenshire and are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and solution-focused individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Worker. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) offered on a fixed-term basis until February 2027.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have access to a car, have a full drivers licence, and be happy to transport customers in their car.
As a Community Engagement Project Worker, you’ll play a key role in delivering The Positive Relationships Service across Llanelli, Amman, and Gwendraeth. These community hubs offer preventative, solution-based support that empowers people to:
Improve or maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence
Strengthen social connections and community ties
Prevent isolation, relationship breakdown, and housing instability
You’ll be part of a service that helps individuals, families, carers, and communities to communicate openly, resolve conflicts, and sustain respectful, healthy, and constructive relationships.
What skills and experience do you need?
We want someone who is passionate about helping people feel heard, valued, and supported. You’ll need to bring:
Skilled communicator with the ability to listen, empathise, and remain impartial.
Experienced (or willing to be trained) in facilitation or conflict resolution.
Passionate about supporting people to improve their wellbeing, strengthen relationships, and feel part of their community.
Solution-focused, resilient, and able to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

The FTE salary for this position is £ 28,041.00 FTE
Work Pattern: 4 days per week but required to work a Wednesday to attend team meetings. Work pattern can be discussed during interview.
