Purpose of the Role
The Heritage Officer will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of the Afro Heritage Project. The postholder will support the documentation, preservation, and dissemination of African heritage in Leicester through oral histories, community engagement, and creative interpretation. The role involves organising workshops, facilitating community participation, managing archival content, and producing materials that promote access to heritage for diverse audiences.
