Teaching Assistant – Level 2
32.5 hours a week (term-time only) 8.30am – 3.30pm
Scale 2 pt 3-4 (based on £26,656-£27,074 FTE per annum)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children. The role will involve working with individual pupils or small groups, as well as supporting learning across the classroom. Part of the hours will include supervising and supporting children during lunchtime.
Experience of supporting children with SEND (particularly ASD and ADHD) would be an advantage, but it is not essential. What matters most is a calm, nurturing approach and a genuine commitment to helping every child thrive.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience of working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them reach their potential
• Brings energy, enthusiasm and patience to every day
• Works flexibly and effectively as part of a team
• Can support children from a range of backgrounds and with a variety of needs
• Has a positive outlook and a good sense of humour
