Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic sports coach looking for a rewarding opportunity to work with children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Look no further! We have an exciting full-time position available in Bolton, Greater Manchester, offering a competitive salary of £95-105 per day (depending on experience).
As a Sports Coach in SEMH Provision, you will have the unique opportunity to inspire and engage students through the power of sport and physical activity. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Our client, a well-established education provider in Bolton, is seeking a skilled and empathetic Sports Coach who can develop and deliver high-quality sports programmes tailored to the needs of students with SEMH. Your role will be crucial in promoting physical and mental well-being, building self-esteem, and fostering a love for active lifestyles among the students.
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions and activities
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and participation
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and procedures
- Relevant coaching qualifications in one or more sports disciplines
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong behaviour management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- First Aid and safeguarding certifications (desirable)
