Crynodeb
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Carer/Support Worker to work in a six bedded residential home set in near the market town of Newcastle Emlyn and catering for adults with mixed abilities who display behaviour that challenges.
Carer/Support workers undertake a wide range of duties to support the provision of the life, home and social skills of the residents, and will include responsibility for their activities of daily living, animals husbandry, gardening, small holding and household activities.
You will liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team. Patience, good communication, organisational and care skills are therefore essential.
The post is Full time or Part time and consists of shift work Inc nights and weekends. The post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) police and identity check.
Previous experience is not essential as training is given. We can offer development opportunities and a supportive friendly environment for you to further learning opportunities, including access to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
