Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping clients regain their independence through meaningful therapeutic interventions tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities through observation and testing to determine treatment requirements.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ specific needs and goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ ability to perform daily activities and achieve greater independence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Educate patients and their families about the processes involved in rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
Document patients’ progress and update treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in goals and outcomes.
Stay current with best practices and emerging therapies in the field of occupational therapy.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
State licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
Ability to assess and adapt treatments based on individual patient needs and responses.
Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques, equipment, and assistive devices.
Experience working in various healthcare settings, including rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £31.00
