Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 Supervisors to join our Streetscene Service on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of street cleansing within a designated geographical area. In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of staff, visitors, and contractors. You will also conduct inspections of plant and machinery, ensuring that any necessary remedial work is promptly addressed.
You will prepare wage information for both staff and agency personnel and maintain all relevant site documentation and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will provide toolbox talks and training to site personnel while managing the induction process for staff, visitors, and contractors, including the permit-to-work system.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement for this role. As is a current First Aid certificate, or the compulsory gaining of this certification with future refresher training.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: an average of 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern between the hours of 7am and 6:30pm
Annual Salary: £36,319.27 - £42,291.40 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts annual payments of £2,173 for non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) and £743 for working context & demand (WCD).
