Your New Role
As a Principal Consultant in the Sustainability Team, you will lead and manage projects that drive real-world environmental impact. You'll work closely with clients and design teams to deliver on ambitious sustainability goals, particularly in areas such as:
- Whole life and embodied carbon modelling and reporting
- Circular economy strategies and materials advice
- Broader sustainability coordination across planning, design, and certification
You'll also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, managing project budgets and timelines, and contributing to business development activities.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Strong technical expertise in carbon modelling (especially using OneClick)
- Experience with planning-related reporting (e.g. GLA requirements)
- Knowledge of embodied carbon, materials, and circular economy strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including leading workshops
- A broad understanding of net zero strategies and sustainability certifications (e.g. BREEAM)
- Proven project management and team leadership experience
