Join our Team as a part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Blackhorse Primary School in Emerson's Green! We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and HLTA to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting high-quality universal provision, helping to ensure that all pupils can access learning effectively within the classroom environment.
As a HLTA, you will work flexibly across the School, supporting all age groups in close collaboration with the teachers. You will work as part of a team under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO to assist in the educational, personal, and social development of our pupils, including those with special educational needs. You will play a crucial role in supporting teaching staff, promoting independence, confidence, and resilience among our students to help them thrive.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of two years’ experience working with primary aged pupils in an educational context.
• Have a clear understanding of how to motivate children and help them make progress.
• Ability to present information both orally and in written form in a concise, coherent way in order to keep records and assess children’s progress
• Experience of teaching and learning within the primary phase.
• Other qualifications that support children to thrive and support their emotional and social development e.g. ELSA
• Willingness to engage in further training.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of colleagues.
• Have two fully supportive employment references.
