Are you a detail-driven planner with a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects? We're looking for a Site Planner to join a high-performing team on one of the UK's most ambitious engineering programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development, monitoring, and optimisation of detailed site programmes, working closely with project controls and delivery teams to ensure milestones are met and risks are managed.
- Develop and maintain Level 4 site programmes, including 4- and 16-week lookaheads.
- Monitor progress against plan and report regularly to the Project Controls team.
- Identify and communicate critical path deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Integrate emergent works into existing schedules with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Analyse earned value performance and physical progress (e.g. meterage, welds).
- Support resource planning and communicate requirements to meet project timelines.
Key Competencies:
- Strong ability to build and manage detailed programmes from defined scopes of work.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with site teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of planning's impact on safety, quality, and cost.
- Ability to anticipate risks and highlight critical areas for management attention.
- Awareness of technical interfaces and construction sequencing.
- Proven experience in a site-based planning role within infrastructure or engineering.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS (MAPS or Operatives) card is required.
