We are really excited to be seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individuals to join a well-established Early Intervention Service. The Lancashire and South Cumbria Early Intervention Service (EIS) specialises in working with individuals aged 14 and upwards who are at risk of or currently experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

The Early Intervention Service is focussed on achieving national quality standards and delivering a high standard of care. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable applicant to be part of the developments within LSCFT Early Intervention Services in the Fylde Coast Locality.

The successful candidate will take on the role of Team Leader, providing leadership for our Fylde and The Bay Early Intervention Service (EIS) Team. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering change, while maintaining the core philosophy of EIS and promoting recovery-focused care.

As a key member of an enthusiastic management team, the candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement and the use of innovative approaches to meet the needs of our service users.
This role includes both clinical and operational leadership. The successful applicant will support both teams and work collaboratively with the existing Team Leaders to ensure consistent leadership across the two services.

We place a strong emphasis on professional and clinical supervision in order to support and develop individuals as part of our commitment to maintain our focus on delivering the highest quality clinical service
The role is based within The Bay and Fylde Early Intervention Service (EIS). The Bay EIS operates a hub-and-spoke model of care, covering the following localities: Kendal, Barrow, Morecambe, and Lancaster. Fylde is based at The Gateway.

The vacancy covers these areas; however, your base will be at the location closest to where you live. We aim to minimise travel across the team’s footprint wherever possible, and agile working is encouraged.
This is a hybrid role, combining in-person and remote working. A significant portion of communication and collaboration takes place via Microsoft Teams, including team meetings, supervision, case discussions, and service planning. The successful candidate should be confident using digital tools to engage with colleagues and deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.

Lancashire & South Cumbria Foundation Trust encourages flexible working, we believe that a positive work/life balance benefits NHS employees through improved health and wellbeing. We would consider working patterns such as; term time, part time, compressed hours, flexi-time and career breaks. We encourage applicants to state clearly on their application forms this request and discuss these options at interview.
