Summary
The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Community Intensive Support Team (RAIST) aims to transform the way in which crisis care is experienced by children, young people (CYP) and those who care for them by developing a service which is child-centred, needs-led, responsive, accessible and flexible.
The post holder will be responsible for promoting positive attitudes towards young people with complex mental health needs and for maintaining a responsive and non-stigmatising service, which will enhance social inclusion, support recovery and deliver better outcomes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to secure a leadership role within Children and Young People’s Mental Health Community Intensive Support Team, which will provide intensive community-based and acute setting support and interventions for young people and their families.
You will be responsible for promoting positive attitudes towards young people with complex mental health needs and maintaining a responsive and non-stigmatising service, which will enhance social inclusion, support recovery and deliver better outcomes.
The role of Clinical Team Manager will include direct clinical work; working intensively with children, young people and those who care for them, as well as maintaining and improving the overall quality and effectiveness of the service.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the urgent care pathway for children and young people is young person and family focused, needs-led, responsive, accessible and flexible.
The hours of operation for the service will be variable and will require unsociable hours working that will be across 7 days per week.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services, including secondary mental health care, across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services, including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
