Reports to: Programme Manager – Learning Support Salary: SC5- £26,421- £28,426 per annum, (PRO RATA based on term time only)
Hours: Permanent, term time only
Start date: As soon as possible
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are currently seeking to appoint a Learning Support Administrator. You will make a significant contribution to our outstanding Learning Support programme area.
Working closely with the teaching staff, you will provide in-class support on a range of courses from entry level one to advanced level three. You will also be required to provide high quality support for GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths. The role is varied and will offer a rewarding opportunity to help our students achieve their full academic potential.
You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work in a supportive and patient manner. You should also have knowledge and an understanding of inclusive education and working with young people who have a range of disabilities and learning difficulties.
