Are you ready to make an impact at one of London's leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Visual Arts Technician to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role
This role is offered on a full time, permanent role.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the work of students and teachers of A-level visual art subjects, but you will also support cross-centre events and activities. Capital City College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre. We have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students' confidence and skills and this post makes a key contribution to that work.
About the Team
You will join a friendly, professional team committed to delivering high-quality support across the college. Working together, you'll help create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team of 16 colleagues who are committed to excellence. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches.
About You
We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
* Strong understanding of the working mechanisms of visual arts, studios, and workshops
* Proficiency in both Mac and Windows operating systems is essential, as well as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
* Knowledge of contemporary art practices and the materials used in Fine Art, Textiles, Graphics, and Photography is expected
Most importantly, you'll be ready to make a positive contribution to our college community.
