Crynodeb
The Cancer Centre Team is committed to continue to improve and develop the service to provide the best possible care for the women of Birmingham and the West Midlands. The Team is research active and the postholder will have opportunity and will be expected to participate in audits, clinical research and in representing the Centre in national and international forums. The Pan-Birmingham Gynaecological Cancer Centre has a strong subspecialty training programme and trains two SSTs. The team is supported by clinical research fellows, an FY2 trainee and a advanced surgical care practitioner. The Gynaecological Oncology Team provides 24/7 emergency cover for gynaecological oncology patients, which is separate from the general gynaecology and obstetrics rotas.
