Crynodeb
On-call Arrangements The post holder would be required to participate in the general on-call rota at their base hospital but to also provide some outside of their base in line with current agreements within the department. Suitable high quality accommodation will be provided when working at the non-base hospital. The out of hours cover is a mix of resident time and on call. The on-call rota is currently defined as a Category A rota which requires consultants on-call to respond immediately to complex telephone enquiries or attend the hospital. Out of hours provision is also supported by two resident trainees/speciality doctors in Scarborough & three in York. Separate consultants from the intensivist group currently cover critical care.
