Neway is currently looking for an Income Collection & Dispute Resolution Officer to join our client based with Enfield Council.

Location: 36–44 South Mall, Enfield Council Contract: 28 September – ongoing Hours: 36 per week | Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 Pay: £18.95 PAYE / £23.78 Umbrella | Inside IR35 ️ Application Deadline: Tuesday 23 September 2025 at 09:00

Are you a confident communicator with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for resolving complex financial issues? Enfield Council is seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Income Collection & Dispute Resolution Officer to support additional project work within the Housing & Regeneration team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Maximise recovery of service charge income, debts, and arrears

Submit cases to HM Courts Service for online judgment and monitor progress

Identify and pursue enforcement action, liaising with legal teams and attending court when required

Advise leaseholders on financial assistance options and refer to debt advice agencies

Resolve disputes end-to-end, working across teams to secure information and support leaseholders

Respond to leaseholder enquiries and ensure all debts are recoverable

Administer suspense accounts, reallocate payments, reconcile service charge accounts, and process refunds

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in leasehold income recovery and basic knowledge of Leasehold Law

Proven ability to deliver front-line services in a housing environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

IT proficiency and confidence in navigating financial systems

Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure

A customer-first mindset with a passion for service excellence
