We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our service at Treliske Hospital in Truro.
We have opportunities in the following teams:
Band 5 Rotation
Our popular Band 5 rotation spans the acute and community trusts, with opportunities across mental health, learning disabilities and physical rehab.
Band 6 roles
Trauma and Orthopaedics- we have full and part time posts available, based at Treliske.
Front Door Team - we have two full time posts available, but we would consider candidates who are looking for part time hours or to work condensed hours (i.e. longer days).
Surgical Team- we have a part time (22.5hr) post available in our surgical team.
Band 7 roles
We have three exciting opportunities for those looking to develop their Occupational Therapy career in Cornwall:
• Band 7 Trauma and Orthopaedics OT Team Lead (37.5 hrs per week)
• Band 7 Critical Care OT Team Lead (37.5 hrs per week)
• Band 7 Neuro Rehab OT Team Lead – job share at Marie Therese House (15 hrs per week).
Job Overview
To provide a high standard Occupational Therapy service.
To maintain an agreed case load within in the clinical specialism, performing advanced assessment of patients including those with highly complex presentations. To formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, as an autonomous practitioner.
To undertake line manager duties for the team (B7 posts).
To work alongside the AHP Urgent Care Manager, Therapy Lead and the Occupational Therapy Professional Lead, in planning, co-coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service (B7 posts).
