We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Hub!

We are recruiting a knowledgeable and compassionate Service Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding & DoLS Hub at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This important role is central to delivering our Social Care Futures vision and ensuring that safeguarding responses are timely, proportionate, and person-centred.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £53,296 - £58,286 per annum.

About the role

As Service Team Manager for the Safeguarding & DoLS Hub, you will lead a specialist team responsible for delivering statutory safeguarding duties and managing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.


You will:

Provide visible, supportive leadership to staff, promoting resilience and reflective practice.
Ensure robust oversight of safeguarding and DoLS processes, in line with the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
Champion excellent practice around mental capacity across the service.
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to uphold individuals’ rights and wellbeing.
Contribute to RBWM’s strategic priorities: building inclusive, healthy communities, promoting prevention and choice, and delivering compassionate, high-quality services.
