EP&S Support Officer

Description
We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful EP&S Support Officer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency and support capabilities. As an EP&S Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assistance in the delivery of emergency preparedness and safety initiatives, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will work closely with various stakeholders to facilitate training sessions, maintain essential documentation, and support the implementation of safety protocols across the organization. Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and safety programs.
Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for staff and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety initiatives and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance metrics and program effectiveness.
Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and provide support to staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety protocols and practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Emergency Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in safety program implementation or emergency preparedness roles.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

Hours Per Week: 29.60
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 16:30
Pay Per Hour: £13.47
Location: Plymouth, South West England
