Main duties and responsibilities: Stock shelves in the Inpatient Pharmacy, Outpatient Pharmacy, and any other required location ensuring that stock is kept clean, tidy, in the correct place and used in order FEFO (first expiry first out). Carry out regular stock checks of medicines stored within these areas reporting any discrepancies to the Procurement Pharmacy Technician. Professional responsibilities: Tocooperate with managers to ensure the Pharmacy department is compliant with relevant statutory and professional standards on Health & Safety, COSHH, Clinical Governance, and Medicines Management. Wholesale specific activities if required: Performingquality inspections of all wholesale stock received and reporting any issues to the Responsible Person. Unpacking the wholesale stock into the designated wholesale area.
