Widnes | £12.21 per hour (overtime £18.32 per hour) | Monday - Friday | Temporary (Approx. 5 Weeks)Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting for Site Operatives on a temporary basis for approximately five weeks for their national processing client based centrally in Widnes.
The successful candidates will be working as part of a team processing incinerator bottom ash to aid in the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals through the operation of static process plant.
Please note: A drug test will be required before starting this role.
Key Responsibilities- Working on a picking station.
- Clean-down of equipment.
- Routine machine maintenance.
- Manual handling.
- Ensuring safety is paramount and reporting any defects.
- Enjoy working in a busy environment.
- Able to work as part of a team safely.
- Maintain a tidy work area, practise good housekeeping, and ensure all equipment is well maintained.
- Contribute improvement ideas and actively take part in health and safety meetings.
- Monday to Thursday: 6:45am - 6:15pm (11 hours paid).
- Friday: 6:45am - 3:45pm (8.5 hours paid).
- Total: 52.5 hours paid per week.
- Two 30-minute breaks per shift (one paid, one unpaid).
- £12.21 per hour for the first eight hours per day.
- £18.32 per hour for hours worked beyond eight per day.
- Optional additional hours available on Saturdays.
