Crynodeb
The role of the Specialist Physiotherapy Therapist (PT) delivers a range of physiotherapy treatments including therapeutic trampolining and hydrotherapy to a caseload of students with a wide range of complex needs. Treatments are based on a comprehensive assessment of need that results in high quality, current evidence-based, appropriate and cost-effective programmes to meet the needs, abilities and aspirations of service users, students and funders. This role provides support, advice, and guidance to our colleagues and other professionals, whilst also delivering training, coaching and mentoring to staff and parents and support the development of other PTs and student PTs within the service. They will provide support and supervision for junior Physiotherapy Therapists and Therapy assistants and will deputise for Lead PT as required.
