Income and SLR Finance Manager
Full Time, Permanent, Band 7
The Income & SLR Finance Manager serves as a lead financial specialist within the Business Services team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of healthcare income as well as supporting quarterly SLR roll out. The role involves supporting theAssistant Director of Finance, in accuratelyreporting healthcare income, and ensuring SLAM submissions are done on a monthly basis. The post-holder will be provided with adequate training to use the SLAM system should this be required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. 1. Income Reporting
· Prepare the Trust’s monthly income position in accordance with the agreed timetable, ensuring the general ledger reflects that position including month‑end close, journal entries (accruals, budgets), variance analysis, and income invoicing.
2. Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) Data Management and Submission
· Ensure accurate input of activity data into the Trust’s SLAM database, applying relevant business rules and adjustments to ensure the Trust’s income position is correct for internal reporting in line with the monthly timetable.
3. SLR and Costing
· Assist and support the production of internal reports for SLR and PLICS for operational and clinical managers. Support and deliver appropriately-targeted presentation material to promote awareness of SLR and PLICS throughout the organisation.
Croydon Health Services provides integrated NHS services to care for people at home, in schools, and health clinics across the borough as well as at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital.
CUH provides more than 100 specialist services and is home to the borough’s only Emergency Department and 24/7 maternity services, including a labour ward, midwifery-led birth centre and the Crocus home birthing team.
Purley War Memorial Hospital (PWMH) in the south of the borough offers outpatient care, including diagnostic services, physiotherapy and ophthalmology services run by Moorfields Eye Hospital, alongside an onsite GP surgery.
Our experienced staff take care of people of all ages across the borough of Croydon.
