We’re on the lookout for an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of one of our busy pub and hotel venues. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, leadership, and providing outstanding customer service. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll help drive performance, motivate the team, and ensure smooth operations across both the pub and accommodation sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in daily operations across bar, restaurant, and hotel facilities

Lead by example to deliver an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint

Manage and develop a team of front and back-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of service and compliance

Assist with rota planning, stock control, ordering, and cash handling

Ensure health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing laws are upheld at all times

Drive sales and profitability through upselling and local marketing initiatives

Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues in a professional, efficient manner

Take responsibility for the venue in the absence of the General Manager
