Advantis is a leading debt collections agency established over 20 years ago based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent with offices in Bolton. The Bolton arm of the business houses our esteemed Legal Aid Agency (LAA) who collect funds on behalf of the Ministry of Justice to be put back into the public purse.
In total, we have over 250 people across our teams who care deeply about the work they do and have fun doing it, making us a great place to work (and we’re not just saying that – we’ve been officially certified as such for the last three years!).
Location – Bolton
Salary – £24,570
Hours of Work – Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm (office based), to be discussed upon successful appointment.
The Role:
We are looking for diligent, compassionate and resilient personalities to join our LAA Department in Bolton as a LAA Administrator.
Via email and letter correspondence you will give professional support, providing debt guidance to our customers and always ensuring you find the best and fair solution for them. This will include helping customers to pay their accounts in full, navigate payment plans that are bespoke to the individual, and to resolve complex enquiries.
Your customer service and correspondence skills, confidence in being able to problem solve and personal resilience will be essential in maintaining our expectations of exceptional levels of service. Your attention to detail and negotiation techniques will ensure that the right outcome is achieved for both our customer and for our clients every time.
To ensure that you are able to meet and maintain our high standards full induction training will be provided and further ongoing coaching and support.
After passing your probation, you’ll be able to switch to our hybrid working model, with just one office day a week - Tuesdays, our team’s anchor day. While you’re in probation, we’ll ask you to be in the office full-time so you can get the most from our hands-on training and collaborative culture.
The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:
You will be naturally organised, making working through a to-do list with changing priorities look like a breeze.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Well-honed administration and correspondence skills.
You’ll have empathy in abundance with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers, but you’ll feel comfortable having challenging correspondence where appropriate.
Expert listening and effective communication skills.
You’ll enjoy owning the tasks and projects that you’re working on, having a collaborative when appropriate.
Self-motivation and a drive to reach (and exceed) targets.
Proven customer service experience would be an advantage.
In Return for your Hard Work, We’ll Give You Access To:
Up to 35 days holiday (including bank holidays)
