Your new role
As HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting one of the organisation's regional operational areas. You'll provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including grievance, disciplinary, attendance management, and dignity at work. You'll work closely with senior managers and stakeholders to implement HR policies, deliver training, and support recruitment and workforce planning activities.
You'll also contribute to policy development, lead on HR projects, and ensure consistent HR practices across the organisation. This is a varied and strategic role that combines operational HR delivery with opportunities to shape the future of the HR function.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Hold a Level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree)
  • Be a current member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
  • Have at least 2 years' experience providing HR advice on core employee relations issues in a unionised environment
    OR
  • Hold a Level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree)
  • Be working towards CIPD membership
  • Have at least 4 years' experience providing HR advice on core employee relations issues in a unionised environment



Additionally, you should have:

  • Experience advising senior management on HR matters
  • A sound understanding of employment legislation
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills
  • The ability to develop and deliver training
  • Experience producing HR reports and insights
  • A full UK driving licence or access to transport to meet the role's requirements
