We have an exciting opportunity for a HCPC registered Clinical Scientist specialising in MR physics to join the expanding Clinical and Radiation Physics department based at The Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. The post is suitable for a recognised MR Safety Expert or someone working towards recognition. Whilst the role is primarily aimed at providing MR physics support, there will be an expectation and opportunity for involvement and development of other areas of service dependent on the applicant’s interests and experience, for example other non-ionising related services and/or scientific computing.
The main purpose of this role is to support all aspects of MR physics at RCHT. Working closely with the MR Imaging team, this role will support MR safety advice for patients, staff and the Trust; optimisation of clinical protocols and sequences; quality assurance of MRI equipment and assisting with MR related procurement exercises.
