Crynodeb
This role is responsible for the implementation of a SHEF (Safety, Health, Environment, Fire) management system within the Garrison. Advising the Garrison Commander as Head of Establishment (HoE) on all SHEF related issues. Monitor Legislative and Policy change and update Chain of Command and implement. Monitoring SHEF performance of all major units within the Garrison
Key responsibilities:
Act as SHEF (Safety, Health, Environment, Fire) & SD (Sustainable Development) focal point in all Garrison related issues.
Work with Garrison Management Team (GMT) to advise soft and hard FM (Facilities Management) on SHEF & SD related issues.
Manage the Garrison (Gsn) SHEF Risk Register and advise on Risk meetings.
Represent the Gsn Comd (Commander) at Regional Command, JMC (Joint Military Command) Headquarters South West (HQSW) and stakeholder SHEF meetings.
Organise and act as Deputy Chair to the Comd for Gsn biannual SHEF and SD meetings.
Act as sustainable development / energy focal point and Gsn liaison with Stakeholder partners.
Carry out spot audits on Gsn units.
Act as safety focal point and produce SHEF and SD policy for Garrison Public Military Event(s).
Complete Mandatory Training as per MOD Policy.
