Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Telford
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team at our Telford facility. This is a permanent, full-time role working on a day shift pattern, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including ovens and conveyors

  • Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs

  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

  • Participate in engineering projects to upgrade or modify equipment and systems

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

About You:

  • Time-served or qualified in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

  • Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Good understanding of health and safety practices

  • Experience working on ovens, conveyors, and similar production machinery

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
