The Role
Our client is a Telford-based manufacturer of consumable products, supplying into domestic and international markets. They are looking for a multiskilled mainteance engineer to join their highly skilled maintenance team on the 4/4 shift pattern. The role offers excellent technical development and variety, a dynamic and meticulous working environment and outstanding salary and benefits package.
What you'll be doing
- PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
- Facilities maintenance and repair
- Participating in the development and optimization of maintenance processes, procedures, and policies
- Seek out and exploit opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
- Optimize the performance and longevity of machinery, equipment, component parts, and tools.
What you'll need
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (minimum)
- 17th or 18th Edition
- High level of problem-solving ability
- PLC Fault-finding
- A minimum of 5+ years' maintenance engineering experience
- A strong manufacturing background - any discipline (FMCG or similar desirable)
- Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of or experience working to ISO9001 standards
- PLC programming and/or knowledge of change ladder logic (desirable)
