Contract:Permanent/40 hours per week

Shift Patterns:Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

Salary:£45,000-£48,000 with additional 10%bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivatedGeneral Services Manager to oversee soft services management across our client sites in Enfield, London and Edinburgh. This role is critical in ensuring that all elements of the soft services contract are delivered to the highest standards—safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively.

You will act as theprimary operational interface with our client, ensuring services meet agreedService Level Agreements (SLAs) and promoting continuous improvement. This isan excellent opportunity for a skilled leader with facilities management experienceto drive service excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
  • Lead, manage and develop site-based teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality services.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients based on trust and service excellence.
  • Manage budgets effectively, maximising profitability while ensuring value for the client.
  • Deliver all services in line with contractual terms, SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice across operations.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for growth and additional services.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience infacilities or operational managementwithin a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of full facilities management and soft services delivery.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and commercial agreements.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently within a team environment.
