Millfield School is seeking a Day House Manager to work in a boys’ day house, providing high-quality pastoral support during term time.
As a Day House Manager, you will be joining a small team of staff who work together to ensure that the pupils feel safe, secure and at home, whilst also playing a pivotal part in making sure the house runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday: 1.45pm – 6.30pm, plus alternate Saturdays: 8.30am – 6.30pm during term time. The salary is £11,198.15 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay).
