We’re looking for a passionate and experienced nurse to join our dynamic colorectal cancer team as a Macmillan Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist. This is more than a job — it’s a chance to be a key part of a nationally recognised cancer service, delivering compassionate, expert care to patients throughout their cancer journey.
As a Macmillan professional, you’ll be supported to grow, lead, and innovate in a role that blends clinical excellence with leadership, education, and service development.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Act as a clinical expert in colorectal cancer, supporting surgical and oncology teams.
• Lead nurse-led clinics, perform holistic needs assessments, and support treatment planning.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Contribute to MDT meetings, service development, audits, and research.
• Support staff education and act as a role model in clinical practice.
• Ensure compliance with national cancer standards and COSD metrics.
