Pay Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
We're looking for a caring and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the heart of Birmingham. If you have previous experience supporting pupils with ASD, non-verbal communication needs, and SEMH, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive setting.
You'll be working 1:1 and in small groups, helping children stay engaged, emotionally regulated, and able to access learning at their level. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD, NV and SEMH needs
- Use tailored strategies to support communication and behaviour
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver EHCP targets
- Create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Offer consistency and emotional support throughout the day

- Previous SEN experience in a primary school setting is essential
- Confident supporting pupils with ASD, non-verbal and social-emotional needs
- Calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour and communication
- Team player with a passion for helping pupils thrive
