Position: Clinical Unit Manager
Salary: £25.00 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week (including weekday and weekend shifts)
Location: Near Waltham Abbey
In this key role, you will support the delivery of exceptional care, oversee nursing operations, and work closely with senior management to maintain the highest standards of practice and compliance.
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing team
Collaborate with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager on recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff
Ensure compliance with infection control measures and current legislation
Supervise care planning and quality assurance processes
Attend regular management meetings and report on staffing and resident care
Play a key role in staff inductions, appraisals, and ongoing training
Liaise with CQC inspectors and monitor regulatory compliance
Maintain staff rotas and ensure continuity of care
Foster a supportive, professional, and caring environment
Nice To Have:
A valid UK NMC Pin – essential
Proven experience in a senior nursing or unit management role
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
