We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our facilities team at our client’s prestigious banking campus in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly team environment, with excellent training and development opportunities, and clear progression routes to Team Leader or Shift Leader roles.
Job Description
In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all engineering standards are upheld to maintain the reliability and efficiency of the plant and systems.
You’ll also work in full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Ongoing training courses will also be provided to help you continue to grow your skills and career.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to onsite Quality Assurance procedures and maintain accurate records for Electrical and Mechanical PPM and plant activities.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests, ensuring effective resolution.
Conduct technical surveys of site services and systems, reporting findings to the Supervisor.
Diagnose faults and carry out minor Electrical and Mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Coordinate and follow up on client requests, handling enquiries and complaints professionally.
Support continuous improvement by reviewing and implementing new techniques to enhance service delivery.
Provide cover at other sites when required and establish contingency measures with the team.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
FM background with HV or HVAP experience
Experienced in completing PPMs and reactive maintenance
Worked in corporate or banking environments
Fully electrically qualified – 18th Edition
Experienced in electrical installations
Holds or has held HV status on site
Skilled in both planned and reactive electrical works
